So my 12 year old sister asks me to come into the office today, she says she wants to show me something she made. I walk in to find The Doctor and Rose looking at me from the computer screen. :-) She made her first graphic and it just happened to be Doctor Who of course! I must have some influence on her. lol So I thought I'd share it with you...

Isn't it purrrrdy!? I'm so proud! I told her that I liked the way that the 2 sad images of Rose and The Doctor are on the outside edges, like they are remembering when they were together like in the middle image. *tear* So sad! She doesn't think it's that good, but I told her that if she keeps practicing and experimenting with things in photoshop, she will only get better and better. So I'm just going to keep encouraging her to practice, and I have already warned her to watch out because Photoshop is an addiction. :-)

A new DW Header batch?! *gasp* It can't be!! :-) I went through an art making lull but I seem to have overcome it. These are just simple starters to get me back in the swing of things, but be on the lookout for more!
All of the writing except for header "E" was done on a graphics tablet, I simply wrote it. I wanted to give it a different feel, whether I managed that or not, who knows. lol

DW 2x13 "Journey's End" Initial Reaction....

Gosh I'm such a mix of emotions right now, I don't even know what to say. I was really happy, but feeling to sad for the original doctor that it overshadowed it a bit. Poor Doctor!! But at least Rose has someone now.. and he's Doctor-esque. :-) Same thoughts and memories and they'll age together.

So I guess I'm happy for Rose, but sad for the Doctor. Rose got her Doctor (in a sense) but the Doctor didn't his Rose. *tear* It's all so perplexing!

And I couldn't forget Donna!! POOR DONNA! She looked so sad before he took her thoughts because she knew what was coming. He put his fingers to her temples and she kept saying "NO DON'T!" I don't care what anyone says.. Catherine Tate is brilliant at drama... *tear* I sure do love Donna's grandpa though... his little send off "i'll remember you on her behalf" *sniffle* So sweet!!

I'm still a little confused at why they had to go back to the parallel universe though, I kept thinking at Bad Wolf Bay "take Rose and leave human!Doctor there with someone that Rose knew or something. Just leave him there and TAKE ROSE WITH YOU!!!" Oh well, I guess it turned out ok, definitely didn't see that coming though I can tell you that! At least the human!Doctor will be able to remember all of the memories with Rose and they can reminisce over a nice cup of tea. :-)

And this will most definitely spurn an uprising of Rose/human!Doctor fic! So bring it on writers!! :-) I'd love to read it!

Request... Little Men

I recently found some old tapes in my room of a few episodes of this show I used to watch in the late 90's called Little Men. It aired on PAXtv (now called ION) and it starred Michelle Rene Thomas (now known as Michelle Burke) and Spencer Rochfort.

Does anyone know what show I'm talking about and have any copies on tape or dvd? (preferably dvd) I know this is a long shot by far, but only the first 8 episodes were released on dvd out of the 2 seasons and they are SEVERELY overpriced so I'm desperate. Especially any episodes from the second season as I have quite a few of the first. I would be more than willing to pay you for the expense of sending the copies and your trouble. PLEASE if someone could help me out or direct me to a community or site that takes requests and could help me out, I would be forever indebted to you. And anything you needed in return (banner, icons etc) I would more than happily supply you.

Again, I know this is an old show, and probably isn't on the list of 'favorites' for many of my lj friends, but if you could help me in any way I'd really appreciate it. :-)

There you go! These were all made from DW header batches 1-9. Took me about 2 and a half hours to do, making them, saving them individually then uploading them all and copy/pasting them into the icon table. *phew* Finally done now though! :-) Enjoy!

There ya go! Made them just now. I had to do something to put off cleaning the house! LOL! I rather like how these came out as well, very grungy. I used a few colors I normally don't use, a little outside my comfort zone, but I'm pretty happy with it. I made the background with 4 different brushes and a texture. And the colorbar/userinfo thingys there at the end aren't exactly your typical colorbar.. a little different but I thought they would still be nice in a userinfo.

A batch I just whipped up this afternoon. siberian21 gave me the ace idea of trying a few colorbars, and these resulted. I couldn't stop with the colorbars so I had to make a few header size variations. I know that the colorbars aren't exactly 'colored' lol, but eh, oh well. I liked them b/w. They were kinda fun, so I'll hopefully be making more later.

Doctor Who Dream... (from an unspoiled mind)

Last night I had one of the longest dreams I've ever dreamt. And wouldn't you know, it was Doctor Who centered... lol I woke up at 6 am and scribbled it down in a notebook. (I have to upload a picture later of it.. it's so ridiculously messy I hope I can read it now to write it out here for you all...LOL!)

The dream was as follows...

I was in my old high school gym. All of a sudden an army of cybermen-looking alien beings burst through the gym wall and started killing people. There was even that noise cybermen make when they 'delete' people! lol. I can't explain it but they weren't cybermen, but they were very much like them. I ran into the hallway out of the gym and found my locker. I got inside and looked out through the vent cracks in the door. All I heard was cries and "DELETE DELETE!". Then some guy got in the locker to the left of mine and we could see each other. A cyberman-look-alike walked by my door and opened his door and killed him. He started to walk away but then turned around and opened my door. He said 'delete delete!' but then like he got some order I couldn't hear he stopped and walked away. I jumped out of the locker, ran down the hall, and outside. Outside I find my backyard with our barn so I run inside. My grandfather is out there loading chemicals or something onto a tractor. I realize I don't have shoes on so the farmhand picks me up and carries me to the back entrance. I don't tell them about the aliens, I don't know why.

When I exit out the back of the barn I see a vehicle that looks old and battered, like an army jeep or something. It is full of people and they say "COME ON!!" Hoping this is my escape I start to run to them but I stop when I hear a noise. It sounds like the TARDIS! But alas it is not the TARDIS, but a spaceship. The Doctor is led out and is wrapped in some sort of machine. It's white and you can tell it's either a bomb or a restraint. He says "What? I'm wrapped in a 'bomb or something' and it's not a good thing?!" and then he laughs. I run over to him (and now it's apparent I am rose) and the machine is off and I hug him. The aliens prepare to shoot us, we are kneeled down in the grass facing each other, his hands on my shoulders. His face is full of panic and he suddenly kisses me. The aliens don't fire and put down their weapons. He says "love is the universal language and they hold it sacred". So to save himself he had to find the one person he truly loved (because they can tell) and kiss them. We get in their spaceship and we go to their world.

During this part I have a side note that says something about a man coming up to us while we are kneeled and he says, "don't you recognize me?! I'm your son!" But I don't really recall what exactly happened but I know it didn't make sense even in the dream to me.

The rest of the dream is like I'm watching it from above. I see Rose (me) holding a baby, then another, then another (like how a movie goes fast through time). Then we see the Doctor walking up to our house in some sort of white space suit carrying a baby who is wearing a miniature version of the suit, both with a helmet. He explains it's protective shield gear and behind him a car has a cover that looks like the suit and a huge truck is about to hit it, but instead of hitting it, it goes right through it like the car is a ghost. He looks back at me and smiles a huge Doctor smile.

Next I go to a big corporate building (maybe to pick him up?) and we both board a public bus. He is sitting a row behind me. There is a guy sitting in front of me that is staring back at me with these huge creepy eyes. He pokes me and I say "OY!" and then say some choice words. He simply keeps staring that blank stare and repeats everything I say. The doctor says something like "you don't want to mess with her" and the guy repeats him. The next time I look over at big creepy eyes guy, his face has morphed into the Doctors face. I look around the bus and everyone's face looks like the doctors face! We look at each other and smile and I say "There are hundreds of you!" and we both seem to find that hilarious because we laugh hysterically. We run off the bus.

Then there was a little bit right before I woke up that had me older looking with a bit of grey hair but he looked as young as ever.

And that was the dream! Crazy.. but awesome. I woke up but I wanted to go back to sleep! I'm glad I wrote it down though, even though it took me 15 minutes at 6 am, because I wouldn't have remembered some of it and I wouldn't have had the drawings. (oh yes, I drew pictures of the white protective gear helmet the doctor wore and the alien things, as well as the seating arrangement on the bus! LOL!) What can I say, I am crazy. Crazy for DW THAT IS! hehehe

Well now I'm off to bed, hopefully a great dream will await me, on this the eve of Rose's return! *que dramatic music*
