So my 12 year old sister asks me to come into the office today, she says she wants to show me something she made. I walk in to find The Doctor and Rose looking at me from the computer screen. :-) She made her first graphic and it just happened to be Doctor Who of course! I must have some influence on her. lol So I thought I'd share it with you...

Last night I had one of the longest dreams I've ever dreamt. And wouldn't you know, it was Doctor Who centered... lol I woke up at 6 am and scribbled it down in a notebook. (I have to upload a picture later of it.. it's so ridiculously messy I hope I can read it now to write it out here for you all...LOL!)

So today I was bored and thought.. "hey! why don't I tag my journal!" Well.. 3 hours later I'm finally finished. *phew!* As long and tedious as it was, it was kinda fun to see my old art posts and see what I was listening to back then. Here is one of my first art posts! LOL!! Wow.. that's when I had just gotten photoshop and didn't know anything! And though I'm still learning, it's kind of fun to see how far I've come.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to exchange MSN info. The main purpose would be chats after or during DW as well as just chatting for the heck of it. If anyone's interested just leave a comment with what you have (aim, msn, skype etc) and your screen name. (I am screening all comments for this post, so no one else will be able to get your info) I understand that messaging isn't everyone's thing, but for those of you who like it I think it would be great! :-)

So my month long break is (dun dun dunnnnnn) officially over now. I start tomorrow and to top it off I have an 8 am class. Now I'm not complaining, just worried about what my state will be. I'm by no means a morning person, but I'm tired of having later classes and not getting home at a decent hour and then being tired because I stayed up all night. I need to get up earlier and be home by 2 pm, not be tired all day, and get to bed at a decent time.

Which is why I'm going to bed now. I'll only get about 6 and a half hours of sleep but oh well. I can always take a nap after classes. It will take a while to get used to the early morning thinking but I will eventually get there.

Pointless entry I know... but that's how it goes. :-)

So I finally got to see it last night and... ( Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled... )

I have seen a few episodes here and there of NBC's The Office but never really paid it much attention. My friend was home from college this weekend and her family buys dvd's like there's no tomorrow and they had recently purchased the first 3 seasons and we were bored and decided to have ourselves a little marathon.

Needless to say, I LOVE IT! It is past the 'funny' line... it is up there with the best comedy I have ever seen. I'm talking 'so funny it makes you cry'.

And (points to icon) I have a new ship. The most adorable ship I have ever shipped! JIM/PAM!!!! First of all they are so cute together and I love the way they are prank buddies! LOL! And Jim is absolutely adorable. I love him... I DO!

You can expect some art coming your way as soon as I track down some HQ caps. If anyone can help me out with that I would really appreciate it! REALLY REALLY appreciate it!!! Send you a digital cookie appreciate it!

And now I really must get to bed as I have class tomorrow.

So I found it online while looking for something else oddly enough and instantly fell in love with it. I'm def going to go and buy it one of these days, but until then I can keep watching it on the computer. I love the subtel glances and gestures. When they are mixing paint and he asks her why she moved the chair and she says because she looked trapt, he seemed to understand her. He seemed trapped to me as well, married to a woman who doesn't understand his paintings or the meaning behind them. Trapped in a house full of kids who are mean and spiteful. Trapped because all he wants to do is paint what he wants, what he feels, but can't because he has to make money to support his family and that means painting what everyone else wants him to paint. I think that scene really showed you how similar they are. They are both trapped.

So anyway, this all explains my new header and icon. I will be posting more, I have some made already but don't have time right now to upload and post them. Maybe later today.
